Text your customers back. Or let it.

A two-way SMS inbox lets your team send and receive text messages from a business number in one shared place, with an AI answering routine messages when you want it to. Replies thread into the same conversation as the customer’s email, WhatsApp and calls, and opt-outs are enforced with an audit trail.

Texting needs a card on file. An outbound US message is about 1.32 credits, drawn from your balance — and carrier verification is required before a business number can send at volume.

No problem — the front desk will call you tomorrow morning to find a new time.
A campaign message and the reply to it are the same conversation, on the same contact. STOP is honoured and recorded per channel with the history behind it.

Or just ask for it

Send, check and stop — from email, WhatsApp or Slack.

What you get

A business number that behaves like a conversation.

Most business texting is one-directional — a notification nobody can answer. This is the other thing: an actual inbox.

Two-way, with pictures

Send and receive text and MMS from your business number. Their reply threads onto the same conversation rather than arriving as an orphan.

Three carriers

Twilio, Telnyx or Vonage. Inbound webhooks are signature-verified, so a forged request cannot invent a message.

And campaigns when you need them

SMS campaigns are a first-class campaign type — same list building, same scheduling windows, same per-contact personalisation.

Opt-outs that stick

Someone who opts out is recorded as opted out, per channel, with the history to prove when and that nothing followed.

The AI can answer, draft for approval, or stay out — the same three modes as email, set per channel and per thread.

How you'd hand it over

A number, a mode, a message.

1

Get a number that can text

And clear the verification.

Buy a number or bring your carrier account. US business messaging needs 10DLC or toll-free verification before volume sending, and that gate is enforced rather than warned about.

"Set up a text number for the shop and answer the usual questions about opening hours."
2

Decide how much it answers

Send, draft, or stay out.

Set the channel default and override individual threads. A regular customer can be handled autonomously while a complaint waits for a person.

3

Text one person, or a list

Same inbox either way.

Reply to a thread by hand, let the agent do it, or run a campaign to a list. Replies from a campaign land back in the same inbox as conversations.

What is actually happening

The parts that keep texting legitimate.

Replies land on the conversation

An inbound text is matched to the contact and threaded onto their existing conversation, so the person answering sees the campaign message that prompted it rather than a fragment with no context.

inbound threaded to contact · full history

Three carriers, signature-verified

Twilio, Telnyx and Vonage are all supported, and inbound webhooks are verified against the carrier’s signature before anything is created — a forged POST cannot manufacture a customer message.

Twilio · Telnyx · Vonage · verified webhooks

SMS campaigns, claimed plainly

A standalone SMS campaign type with list building, business-hours and timezone scheduling, per-contact personalisation and delivery results — the same engine as the voice campaigns, on a different channel.

campaign type · scheduling · per-contact personalisation

Opt-out is enforced, not just logged

Do-not-contact is applied per channel with a full audit history, and one-click unsubscribe is supported where the standard applies. The record exists so you can show what happened, not just assert it.

Texts sit with everything else

The same shared inbox as email, WhatsApp, web chat and phone calls, with one assignment model, one set of labels and one search across all of them.

Questions

The things people actually ask.

Can customers reply to a text we send?
Yes, that is the point of it being two-way. Their reply lands on the same conversation rather than disappearing into a no-reply void, and whoever picks it up sees the whole exchange.
Which carriers can we use?
Three — Twilio, Telnyx and Vonage. Inbound messages are signature-verified, so a webhook cannot be spoofed into creating a conversation that never happened.
Can we send to a whole list?
Yes. SMS campaigns are their own campaign type, with the same list building, scheduling windows and per-contact personalisation as the phone campaigns, and the same results afterwards.
What happens when someone replies STOP?
They stop hearing from you on that channel, and it is recorded. Do-not-contact is enforced per channel with a full audit history, so you can show when someone opted out and that nothing went to them afterwards.
Do we need to verify the number first?
For US business messaging, yes — 10DLC and toll-free verification are gates before volume sending, and the platform treats them as gates rather than suggestions. That is what keeps messages actually being delivered.
Does the AI have to answer everything?
No. The same three modes apply as on email: it can reply on its own, draft for approval, or stay out entirely while the thread still lands in the shared inbox for a person.
